Staying alive in this game is an immense challenge, and only players with impressive skills and incredible drive will manage to stop being the pray and become the hunter. The wilderness is your first enemy in Rust, and players get thrown into a procedurally generated world in which they have to fight against hunger, thirst, various diseases, and all kinds of vicious wild animals that are looking for something to feast on. Rust started of things as a simple yet addicting clone of DayZ, but over its time in Early Access, it upgraded to a new engine, went in a completely new direction gameplaywise, and became one of the best and most challenging survival games on the market. The game was developed and published by Facepunch Studios in February 2018 for Microsoft Windows, Linux, and OS X.
